Inspired by Florence's lively dining scene, Fiorino is serving all the romance and culinary brilliance that defines this ancient city. The best part? It's only a short walk away in the middle of Chinatown.
Mixing elements from the traditional Italian trattoria with Vancouver's love for all things contemporary, Fiorino treads the line beautifully in its high-ceilinged, breathable space. This is where Mediterranean tiling hosts wooden bistro seating and a dinky little bar, as well as modern leather booths that are illuminated by contemporary lanterns. Minimalist and intimate, Fiorino is where diners reconnect with their senses undistracted and renew their relationship with beautiful food.
With a highly-coveted Bib Gourmand to its name, it's hard to top Fiorino's menu. Recreating the Italian family dining style, you are invited to indulge in sharing plates like wild mushroom arancini, chicken wrapped in 18-month Prosciutto di Parma, battered local seafood and melt-in-the-mouth beef carpaccio served alongside the creamiest buffalo cheese and an intriguing red wine mayonnaise. Fresh and innovative, this is Italian food you've never experienced before.
Diners are also invited to share bigger plates like potato gnocchetti crowned with a rich, wild boar ragu, braised short rib with parmesan polenta, and 30-day dry-aged Porterhouse steak which serves up to four people. As for dolci, you might want to keep this all for yourself, otherwise prepare to fight for the last spoonful of creamy tiramisu, panna cotta or Italian gelato.
