Bombay Masala

Fine Indian cuisine has found a new home in Vancouver. It's name? Bombay Masala.

A cosy curry house that works equally well for a family meal out or an intimate date night, Bombay Masala is a place for everyone to feel at home no matter the occasion. They've kept things easygoing and unpretentious but can't resist creating cosy corners with the help of warm neon lighting, illuminated wall features and lanterns that could also double as disco balls.

The menu concentrates on traditional Indian specialties that we know and love. They know that an Indian meal isn't really complete with some vegetable samosas, paneer pakoras or a helping of marinated chicken from the tandoor. After all, Indian food is meant for feasting and you're bound to roll home after a couple of hours here.

But not before you try one of the heavenly curries. Unlike other Indian curry houses, they don't overwhelm diners with a huge amount of choice, choosing instead to select their favourites like butter chicken, fish masala, lamb rogan josh and chicken vindaloo. Vegetarians can also dine safe in the knowledge that there are over two pages of curries to choose from, with vegans also treated to their own menu.
