Everything here celebrates the richness of the sea. Its location gives way to stunning views over English Bay which are best enjoyed from their stylish patio out front. Inside, they are both a restaurant and an art gallery. Featuring some of the most mesmerising wall art in the whole city, Papi's comes to life through evocative illustrations that speak of magical mer-people, sea creatures and sea plants. Putting you in touch with an almost god-like quality, Papi's is inspired by the power of Poseidon, the God of the Sea, and his might certainly show.

There are all kinds of ways to enjoy the local catch. Let's start off with small plates that transform rockfish into a Mexican delight in the form of a taco, into a winter warmer with a New England chowder, and into a European centrepiece with a bowl brimming with steamed clams. You can also enjoy it as a sandwich, be that with a salmon burger, Atlantic lobster or a spicy ahi tuna burger.

Bigger plates travel to all corners of the world for inspiration, starting off in Italy for prawn and chorizo linguine, then off to Hawaii for a poke bowl, to Thailand for a seafood curry and then all the way to England for fish & chips. As for the oysters, simply check out their daily selection and knock back half a dozen of the most precious jewels of the sea.
